Travelogues

I have been lucky enough to travel to some very cool places. I have a few of these photo albums here:

Antarctica & Argentina
In December/January 1993/4, my mom, my brother, and I went to Antarctica with a Canadian tour company call Polar Expeditions. We first stopped in Buenos Aires, Argentina and from there went on to Ushuaia, Argentina (a small town on the tip of Tierra del Fuego, on the Straights of Magellan). From Ushuaia, we sailed through the Drake Passage and spent about a week sailing among the islands and the mainland of the Antarctic Peninsula, looking at wildlife and visiting research bases from Chile, Poland, and Russia, to name a few.

Spain, Lisbon & Paris
The summer of 1994, I went to Spain with the Rutgers Summer Study Abroad program in the Spanish Department. After spending a week touring in and around Madrid, we spent four weeks attending classes at the Universidad de Salamanca. While in Spain, some friends of mine and I took a couple of weekend trips around Europe, one to Lisbon, Portugal and another to Paris, France.
